Philosophy

Our philosophy is centered around the notion of simplicity. Simplicity in design, simplicity in organization, and simplicity in wording.

The success of your business is dependent on your gaining and keeping customers attention. In today's world, people become frustrated in a matter of seconds when they can't find the information they desire.

Design

Our branding (logo) designs are simple and pleasing to the eye. It is clear what is being represented by our logos and what the company name is. We strive for the recognizability of the Nike swoosh, the Apple Computer apple, and the three stripes of Adidas. Each of these logos is incredibly simple yet extremely effective.

Our web and print design is done with a similar cleanliness to our branding. There is no confusion where the menu is on a site designed by Discotastic. A site visitor is never confused about where to go for the information they desire.

Organization

There is a wealth of information available at the fingertips of anyone with a computer. Most of the information, however, is poorly organized. Putting all of your information on a web site or in a brochure is worth nothing if a customer can't wade their way through it. With backgrounds in Logic, Philosophy, Cognitive Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Human-Computer Interaction, Discotastic has the knowledge and capabilities to make your information accessable in an intuitive way.

Wording

Like the organization of your information on the whole, the wording of your infomation is also crucial. In our opinion, the simpler the wording, the better. There should be no confusion about what your business does and how a customer can get in contact with you. Discotastic makes it a point to understand what you are trying to express and works to present it a simply as possible.
